Welcome to the Trophy and Achievement guide for Hades! This is a list that is going to require a lot of time and many playthroughs. Being that this is a roguelike, the playthroughs can go quickly the more you unlock and the better you get. There are only four different levels for the main story. So it’s not like you’ll be playing through a long campaign or anything like that, but you will be required to replay these levels many times. This is going to be a complete time sink of a list and it can be difficult at first. While it can be difficult and time consuming, that doesn’t mean it is impossible. I know this is a bit of a contradiction, but this list is more doable than it is going to seem at first glance.
There really is no specific way or order to play here. None of these are missable. I don’t usually estimate time and difficulty, but I would peg this at 8/10 normal or 4/10 on God Mode. You’re looking at about 85-100 hours give or take a few based on RNG or just how good you are at the game.
There’s a lot to go over, so let’s get started.
Boons
Boons in Hades are abilities that you can receive from various characters to improve your chances of success. As you go about your many escape attempts, you’ll meet the gods of Olympus. They will offer you a list of boons and you’ll be able to accept one boon per meeting.
Pray to the RNGods
As you know, Hades is a rougelike. And with that comes RNG. This won’t be a straight forward list to complete. There are things you can do to influence your chances, but you’ll have to wait for certain things to happen in order to complete most of the list. What gods appear, what boons the gods offer, what encounter rooms you find, what enemies you face, when things will be for sale and what conversations will happen.
The RNG conversations is maybe the biggest thing here. After each escape attempt, you’ll be able to have a short conversation with each character in the House of Hades. Once the conversation is over, you will need to go out on another escape attempt in order to speak with that character again. You can also have conversations with the gods during your escape attempts. This is done by accepting their boons.
There is a good chunk of this list that is tied to having certain conversations. Unfortunately, the conversations that are needed are tied to RNG. You just don’t know when the required conversation for whatever Trophy/Achievement you’re going for will happen. You’re going to have to speak with every character many, many times. You’ll be going on many escape attempts to fully complete this list, so be sure to always speak to every character as often as you can.
Keepsakes
There are 25 keepsakes to collect and level up. These are collected by giving the various characters Nectar. The keepsakes can then be equipped to give you bonuses on your escape attempts. Every keepsake needs to be leveled up to rank 3. They are leveled up by clearing encounters while having them equipped.
You’re going to want to keep these in mind from the second you start getting them. Try to switch them out and level them up as often as you can. Saving them for the end will add on a lot of extra time and playthroughs to the grind.
God Mode
If you’re finding this game too hard, or want to make things go a little quicker, you can turn on God Mode in the settings menu. Trophies and Achievements can still be earned while playing in God Mode.
God Mode will reduce the amount of damage you take each time you die. Nothing else about the game will change other than the damage you take. Every time you die in God Mode, the game will lower the amount of damage you take by 2%. This mode does have a limit. The game will lower your damage up to 80% if you die enough. It won’t go any higher than 80%. So, you won’t become invincible, but you’ll be pretty close to it at that high percentage of resistance. The more you die in this mode, the easier the game will incrementally become.
Delayed……Pop
Trophies and Achievements may not pop immediately. If this happens, leave whatever room you’re in and it should pop when entering the next room. This happened to me several times, but everything ended up popping. None of them glitched.
Refreshing
As previously mentioned, a lot of this list is tied to having conversations and buying things. These won’t just pop up all at once. You’ll have to do an escape attempt in order to progress the stories. Whether you make it out or die, think of the escape attempts like a refresh of conversations and purchasable items from the House Contractor.
So Hot Right Now
After you’ve successfully escaped, you’ll then be introduced to the Pact of Punishment and heat. The Pact of Punishment will offer you different gameplay modifiers that can make your escape attempts a little more challenging. The more modifiers you turn on, the higher your heat will be. You’ll have to play these for a few Trophies and Achievements.

Escaped Elysium
Clear Elysium

Champion of Elysium
Clear Elysium with the ‘Extreme Measures’ Condition
This is something that won’t be available until after you have successfully escaped. You will then be introduced to the heat modifiers when starting your next run. In order to get this, you will need to successfully escape while having “Extreme Measures” turned on.
All this does is alter the boss fights a bit.
The first boss fight will feature all 3 of the sisters jumping into the battle, but there is only 1 health bar.
The second boss fight will be on a different platform with more lava traps.
The bosses in the third battle will have new armor on. Theseus will also be in a chariot.
This has to be set at 3 in order to unlock the Trophy/Achievement. You don’t have to beat the final boss for this.
Hold the Onions
Clear an Infernal Gate without taking damage
Before you can do this, you will need to have successfully escape and buy the Contractor’s Deluxe Desk from the House Contractor. After those 2 things, you will then need to buy the Erebus Gateways.
The Gateways will then show up in various encounter rooms while you play with heat modifiers on. You will need to clear the room before the Gateway will open.
After going through one of the Gateways, defeat all of the enemies in the encounter without taking any damage. As previously mentioned, you will need to play with a certain level of heat in order to enter the Gateways. You only need to beat 1 room across any of the levels to pop this.
- Tartarus – 5 Heat
- Asphodel – 10 Heat
- Elysium – 15 Heat
Is There No Escape?
Clear an escape attempt

To Charon’s Credit
Earn a Loyalty Card
You will need to have beaten the game before you can earn this.
During your escape attempts, there is a chance that a bag can be found sitting behind Charon. This is a bag of 300 gold coins. When you take the bag, you’ll be forced into fighting Charon. He will give you a loyalty card if you can beat him during this fight. Along with the Trophy/Achievement, you will also be given a discount at his shop for that escape attempt.
The Useless Trinket
Earn the first of Skelly’s prizes
See “Skelly’s Last Lamentations” for more details.
Skelly’s Last Lamentations
Earn the second of Skelly’s prizes
Before you can earn Skelly’s prizes you will need to have successfully escaped at least once.
After that, interact with the covered statues in the bottom corner of the courtyard with Skelly. He will talk to you and give you a new prophecy to complete.
When you have the prophecy, you will need to successfully escape with a minimum heat score. Turn on whatever modifiers you feel comfortable with, but you’ll have to hit the minimums listed below. After you complete an escape attempt, interact with the covered statue that corresponds to the heat number run you just completed.
- Prize 1 – 8 Heat
- Prize 2 – 16 Heat

Friends Forever
Max-rank each standard Keepsake
To rank up a keepsake all you have to do is equip one and complete a certain number of encounters. Each one is maxed out at 3 stars.
You will need to do multiple escape attempts with each one in order to fully rank them up. You should start working this immediately. You’re going to have to run a lot of escape attempts as it is, so be cognizant of these from the beginning. If you save them for the end, you’ll be adding on a lot of extra escape attempts.
You can check keepsake rank progress at the keepsake box in the courtyard with Skelly and in the rooms following boss fights. The Chthonic Companions will be kept here as well. Those are not needed for this Trophy/Achievement.
The requirements for each keepsake will be listed there as well as their current rank.
Rare Collectible
Equip a Chthonic Companion
See “Complete Set” for more details.
Complete Set
Earn all Chthonic Companions
There are 6 different characters that can give you a Chthonic Companion. In order to receive one of the following character’s companions, you will need to have completed their favor. After completing their favor, give them an Ambrosia and they will give you their companion. Once they give you the companion, you can equip it from the Keepsake box in the training room with Skelly.
Be sure to equip at least one of them in order to pop “Rare Collectible.”
- Achilles
- Dusa
- Megaera
- Sisyphus
- Skelly
- Thanatos
Blood Bound
Max any Weapon Aspect
Weapon Aspects are upgraded by using Titan Blood. Titan Blood is acquired by completing escape attempts, beating bosses with each weapon, trading with the Wretched Broker and Charon’s Shop in the Temple Styx.
Pick up a weapon from the courtyard with Skelly and then interact with the selected weapon’s place to access the Aspect menu.
Each weapon will have 4 different Aspects that you can upgrade with Titan Blood. The quickest Aspect to upgrade is the first one called “Aspect of Zagreus”. That will only cost 5 Titan Blood. This is the same across all 6 weapons. You only need to max out one of these.
Infernal Arms
Unlock all Weapon Aspects
To view weapon aspects, you need to equip a weapon in the courtyard with Skelly by pressing R1/RB. Interact with the area you picked the weapon up from again to view the aspects.
There are 6 weapons and each of them has 4 weapon aspects. 3 of the aspects will be available to unlock right away, but you will need to do certain things in order to get the hidden aspects to appear.
The aspects are unlocked by using Titan Blood. You should notice a little lock icon to the right of the aspect. That is what you need to interact with by spending the required amount of Titan Blood. Titan Blood is acquired by beating bosses with all of the weapons, completing certain prophecies and they can be bought from Charon in the Temple of Styx.
This Trophy/Achievement also includes the hidden aspects. Hidden aspects are the aspects at the very bottom of the list. At first, they will be labeled as “???.”
Below is a list of all the hidden aspects and how to unlock them. In addition to everything below, you’ll need to also spend at least 5 Titan Blood on each of the weapons in the other aspects. The Aspect of Zagreus will not count toward the Titan Blood total.
Make sure to equip any one of the hidden aspects and successfully escape while using it in order to unlock “Weapon of Fate.”
- Eternal Spear: Aspect of Guan Yu – Speak to Achilles and Nyx over many escape attempts. Achilles will eventually start talking about weapon aspects. This will go on for a few conversations and then this will be available and waiting to be unlocked.
- Stygian Blade: Aspect of Arthur – Just like with the spear. Continuously speak to Nyx after escape attempts and she will eventually mention this aspect.
- Heart-Seeking Bow: Aspect of Rama – This requires you to continue having conversations with Artemis. This will have to be done while on escape attempts by accepting her boons. Accept one of her boons while you have the bow equipped and that will let her know you have it. Eventually on a different escape attempt, she will give you the phrase to unlock the hidden aspect when speaking to her via boon selection.
- Twin Fists of Malphon: Aspect of Gilgamesh – This one is a little different than the others in terms of characters. For this, you will need to speak with the Elysium boss Asterius. This is not done during the final boss fight. Instead, you will need to encounter him as a mini boss by himself. This will be marked on the next room reward sign above the doors with a skull icon. This won’t always be Asterius, but make sure to go through these doors in order to encounter him alone. Do this with the Twin Fists equipped. This will take place over 2 meetings with him.
- Shield of Chaos: Aspect of Beowulf – This requires you to speak with Chaos while having the shield equipped. This will have to be done while on escape attempts. Chaos is found by taking the manhole like gateways with purple smoke coming out of them. After he knows you have it, the next conversation will contain the hidden aspect phrase.
- Adamant Rail: Aspect of Lucifer – This requires you to speak with Zeus with the Rail equipped. This will have to be done while on escape attempts by accepting his boons. After he knows you have it, the next conversation will contain the hidden aspect phrase.
Blessed by the Gods
Choose 100 different Olympian Boon effects
This is something will come naturally as you run through your many escape attempts. You will be offered boons from the various gods every run. All you have to do is accept 100 different ones. They have to be different. Picking the same ones will not count toward this. You can tell which ones you haven’t picked as there will be a scroll icon on the boon.
The icons highlighted below mean that you have not used that specific boon yet. This also applies to the Daedalus Hammer.
Thanks, But No Thanks
Purge a Legendary Boon
Before you can purge a legendary boon, you will first need to acquire one. These are acquired the same way as other boons, these are just more rare. When given the chance to pick a boon, grab the legendary boon if one is available. Then, go to a red Purging Pool and choose to purge it. The Purging Pools can be found in the room following a boss fight.
You can increase your chances of getting a legendary boon by buying the God’s Legacy talent from Nyx’s Mirror in your bedroom.
Tools of the Architect
Choose 50 different Daedalus Hammer enchantments
Each of the 6 weapons you use will have their own set of Daedalus Hammer upgrades. You’re going to need to successfully escape with each weapon, so this is something that should come as you work toward “Master of Arms.”
These have to be 50 unique enchantments. There will be a little scroll icon on the enhancement if you have not used it yet.
Arms Collector
Unlock each of the Infernal Arms
There are 6 Infernal Arms to be collected and they are found in the courtyard with Skelly. They are unlocked by using Chthonic Keys that you will find during your runs.
Stygius | Default starting weapon |
Coronacht | 1 Key |
Aegis | 3 Keys |
Varatha | 4 Keys |
Malphon | 8 Keys – If this doesn’t show up right away, buy everything else and do a run. |
Exagryph | 8 Kyes – After all of the other Infernal Arms have been purchased first. |
Grown Close
Forge a bond with any character
In order to forge a bond with a character, you need to continuously give a character Nectar. Each time you give someone a Nectar, your rank with that person will increase. Keep giving a character Nectar until you reach their favor. This rank will be marked as a heart with a lock in it. After you complete their favor, you’ll be able to give them Ambrosia. Once you’ve fully maxed out their hearts, you will forge a bond with that character. If you’re at the favor stage, but can’t complete it or get the required dialogue, do another escape attempt to refresh things. You may have to do this a few times.
You can check the progress of this in the codex under the character’s name.
Conversations that are tied to the story will always be prioritized over the side discussions and prophecies.
You can influence what god will appear first during an escape attempt by equipping their keepsake.
Below is a quick list of the favor requirements. Remember, these won’t be available until you give them enough Nectar. Give them Ambrosia to finish the bond after completing the favor.
Character | Favor |
Hades | Get Persephone to return to the House by successfully escaping 10 times. |
Nyx and Chaos | Reunite her with Chaos by buying the Eldest Sigil Restoration from the House Contractor. |
Charon | Spend 10,000 gold at his shops. |
Megaera | After beating her enough, she’ll meet you in your room and explain why she is fighting you. |
Thanatos | Beat him in the killing competition. |
Hypnos | Successfully escape 10 times to get full access to Hypnos’ hearts. Witness several Hypnos and Thanatos arguments. This will be completed when Thanatos apologizes to Hypnos and Hypnos thanks you. |
Zeus | Speak with the other gods while accepting their boons and they will eventually comment on Zeus. You just have to hear each of them mention him. |
Poseidon | You will need to catch 18 fish and then speak with him. You will also need to have a fish in your inventory before speaking with him after catching 18. |
Athena | You’ll hear her compliment Zagreus after successfully escaping on your following run when speaking with her. There are 3 different compliments to hear. |
Aphrodite | You’ll need to forge bonds with Meg, Dusa and Thanatos. Aphrodite will have a separate conversation with you about each of the 3 characters. |
Artemis | You’ll need to hear her speak about her partner Callisto several times. This will happen over multiple conversations. |
Ares | You’ll need to kill 10,000 enemies. It won’t be completed until speaking with him after the 10,000 kills. This will count retroactive kills. |
Dionysus | You will need to give at least 10 Ambrosia to characters and have forged a bond with at least 6 characters. |
Hermes | Speak to him while having the Lambent Plume at rank 3 equipped. |
Demeter | Speak with her after reaching the epilogue. This will be multiple conversations with her. She will say that you should have told her the truth about Persephone. |
Achilles and Patroclus | You’ll have to speak with Achilles and Patroclus raising both of their heart meters. Continue speaking with the both of them until they want to reunite. Speak with Hades about altering their deal and then speak with Nyx to help you find the contract in the Admin Chamber. Alter the contract by buying it from the House Contractor for 5 diamonds. |
Cerberus | Pet him 20 times. |
Dusa | You will need to renovate the lounge by purchasing lounge items from the House Contractor. You will also need to fix the scratches left by Cerberus as well as clean up his fur. All of which is done via the House Contractor. |
Skelly | Speak to him after unlocking at least 4 different weapon aspects. He will ask you to kill him by using the Stygian Blade with the Zagreus Aspect at level 5 equipped. It will cost 5 Titan Blood to fully upgrade the Zagreus Aspect. |
Orpheus and Eurydice | You will need to speak with both Orpheus and Eurydice until they start talking about each other wanting to reunite. You will also need to speak with Hades and Nyx about Orpheus as well as having the Administration Chamber unlocked. Eventually, Nyx will tell you where to find Orpheus; contract in the Admin Chamber. Go find it and then you can buy “Singer’s Gamble” from the House Contractor. After buying that, speak to Orpheus again. |
Sisyphus | Continuously speak to Sisyphus until you’re able to speak with Bouldy. This would be the boulder he is tied to. Speak with Bouldy once to start this. You will also need to have at least 5 hearts with Meg. Have a conversation with Hades about Sisyphus as well. In addition to that, you will also need to have the Administration Chamber unlocked and have 5 hearts with Nyx. Just like with Orpheus, Nyx will tell you where to find Sisyphus’ contract in Admin. Find it and then buy “Knave-King’s Sentence” from the House Contractor. Speak to Sisyphus again after that. |
Persephone | Continue speaking with Persephone until she asks Zagreus if she is a good mother. |
Well Versed
Fully Unlock the Olympians’ Codex entries
The Olympians’ codex entries are unlocked by speaking with them by accepting their boons, by giving them Nectar and completing their favors. This is something that will fill in over your many escape attempts. You can check your progress for each god by pressing L1/LB.
Day-or-Night Trader
Trade 20 times with the Wretched Broker
The Wretched Broker is found in the lounge area of the House of Hades. This area will become available after several escape attempts.
He will give you the option to trade materials for other items. Just do that 20 times. After completely unlocking everything on Nyx’s Mirror, the keys won’t really be needed as much. So feel free to use your keys to purchase items from this vendor later in the game.
Home Makeover
Pay for 50 jobs from the House Contractor
The House Contractor will sell many things. All you have to do is simply buy 50 items. You’ll need gems, diamonds and darkness to purchase things from the House Contractor. This should pop over time across your many escape attempts.
Had to Happen
Fulfill any 15 Prophecies
Before you can complete Prophecies, you will need to have purchased the Fated List of Minor Prophecies from the House Contractor. After buying it, it will be found in your room next to the mirror. The prophecies will be listed here. More prophecies will become available with the more escape attempts you do and the more characters you speak to.
River Denizens
Catch a fish from each region
Before you can do this, you will need to buy the Fishing Rod from the House Contractor. This will become available for purchase after unlocking the Fated List and by reaching the 4th area.
You’ll sometimes hear Zagreus mention you can fish when you walk into an area that has a fishing spot. You won’t be able to fish anywhere though. This is another RNG thing. Sometimes when entering an area, there will be designated fishing spots. They will be marked by a little shining light.
After buying it, you will need to catch a fish in each of the areas listed below. Don’t press R1/RB until it is fully pulled under water. It can be a little tricky at first.
Don’t forget to turn the fish you catch in to the chef in the lounge for rewards.
- Tartarus
- Asphodel
- Elysium
- Styx
- Greece
Urge to Sing
Compel Orpheus to sing again
First, you will need to interact with the House Contractor and buy the “Court Musician’s Sentence.” This will free Orpheus and he will then show up in the House of Hades right next to the House Contractor. After that, you can give him Nectar. You will also need to give Eurydice in Asphodel Nectar as well. After giving them enough Nectar, Eurydice will give you a song to give to Orpheus. After giving it to him, there is a chance you can hear him singing when returning to the House of Hades after an escape attempt.
When you do hear him singing, speak to him and to complete this. If this doesn’t pop right away, enter your bedroom and exit.
Nyx’s Mirror
Have at least one rank in each Mirror of Night Talent
Nyx’s Mirror is found in Zagreus’ bedroom. The mirror will have permanent talents that you can unlock that will span across your escape attempts. You will need Chthonic Keys to fully reveal all of the talents. You can then spend darkness (purple currency) on the talents.
All you have to do for this is buy the first rank (at least) of each talent on both sides of the mirror. Press X/A on the icon to the left of the talent name to switch from one side to the other.
If this doesn’t pop right away, exit and re-enter your room.
Night and Darkness
Fulfill the ‘Night and Darkness’ Prophecy
In order to begin this prophecy, you will need to give Nyx and Chaos Nectar until you reach their favors. You will also need to have unlocked the Administration Chamber in the House of Hades.
Remember, Chaos is found by entering the manhole like gateways with purple smoke coming out of them. These will cost health to enter.
Keep speaking to both Nyx and Chaos. They will eventually start talking about trying to reconnect. Nyx will be the one to ask you to restore the Eldest Sigil so that they can meet. After that conversation, go on an escape attempt and when you get back, the “Eldest Sigil Restoration” will become available for purchase from the House Contractor for 3,142 darkness. Visit Chaos after purchasing that to find Nyx there and this will complete the prophecy. If she’s not there on your next visit, just come back on a different run. It took her 2 visits to show up for me.

Fulfill the ‘Chthonic Colleagues’ Prophecy
This is a prophecy that requires you to speak to the characters listed below. You’ll come across them all as you play through the game and get further.
- Hades – House of Hades

- Chaos – You can find Chaos by going through the Chaos gates. They are the manhole like entry ways with the purple smoke coming out of them.

- Tisiphone – This character will not show up in the House of Hades. You will eventually fight Tisiphone where you fought Meg.
- Thanatos – You will encounter him during your escape attempts and will then show up in the House of Hades.
- Hypnos – House of Hades
War-God’s Bloodlust
Fulfill the ‘War-God’s Bloodlust’ Prophecy
In order to begin this prophecy, you will need to give Ares Nectar until you reach his favor. This will then show up in the Fated List in your bedroom.
You will need to kill 10,000 enemies and then speak to Ares to complete this. You can check your kill count by interacting with the Scrying Pool in your bedroom after buying it from the House Contractor.
Fortunately, this will count kills you’ve already done. If you get this after you already have 10,000 kills, you will not need another 10,000. However, it will not auto complete either. It will show up in the Fated List as incomplete the first time you return to the House of Hades after receiving the prophecy. Do another escape attempt and it will be completed upon returning to the House.
End to Torment
Fulfill the ‘End to Torment’ Prophecy
In order to begin this prophecy, you will need to give Sisyphus Nectar until you reach his favor. You will also need to have unlocked the Administration Chamber in the House of Hades.
Sisyphus can be found in Tartarus. His room will be marked with an “!” above the door.
After reaching his locked heart with Nectar, speak to Nyx until she tells you where to find his contract in the Administration Ch amber. Once you find it, his contract will then be available in the House Contractor for you to alter which will free him. It is called “Knave-King’s Sentence.”
Speak to Sisyphus one more time. After that, mark the prophecy complete in the Fated List in your bedroom. If this doesn’t pop right away, leave your bedroom.
Musician and Muse
Fulfill the ‘Musician and Muse’ Prophecy
First, you will need to buy the “Court Musician’s Sentence” from the House Contractor to free Orpheus. You will also need to have the Administration Chamber unlocked.
After that, you will need to give Orpheus, Eurydice and Nyx Nectar until you have 5 hearts filled for each of them. You will also need to speak with Hades about Orpheus’ contract.
Keep speaking to Nyx, Orpheus and Eurydice and the conversations will eventually become about Orpheus and Eurydice meeting again. Nyx will eventually tell you about Orpheus’ contract in the Administration Chamber. Go to the Administration Chamber and retrieve the document. Then, go to the House Contractor and buy the “Singer’s Gamble.”
If Orpheus isn’t in his chair when you buy “Singer’s Gamble,” go into your room and exit. He should be there now. Speak to him and then go claim the prophecy from the Fated List to pop this.
Divided by Death
Fulfill the ‘Divided by Death’ Prophecy
For this, you will need to raise Achilles and Patroclus’ heart ratings by giving them Nectar and have the Administration Chamber unlocked. You must also speak with both of them continuously.
Achilles can be found in the House of Hades and Patroclus is found during your escape attempts in Elysium. Patroclus’ encounter room will be marked with an “!” above the door.
You’re going to need to speak with them until the “Hero’s Sacrifice” becomes available for purchase at the House Contractor. Buy it and speak with both of them again.
This is earned after finishing Orpheus’ and Sisyphus’ quests.
Dark Reflections
Fulfill the ‘Dark Reflections’ Prophecy
For this, you’re going to have to successfully escape at least once with every Mirror of the Night talent. You’re going to have to buy the first rank of every talent for “Nyx’s Mirror” anyway, so just complete a run using every talent at least once.
Don’t forget that there are 2 sides of the mirror and that you can switch talents by pressing X/A on the icon to the left of the talent name. This can be done in any order or with however many escape attempts you need.
Harsh Conditions
Fulfill the ‘Harsh Conditions’ Prophecy
You won’t be able to complete this until you have successfully escaped at least once. You will then be given the option to add modifiers to your escape attempts which are referred to as Pact of Punishment conditions.
In order to complete this prophecy, you’re going to need to successfully escape using every Pact of Punishment condition at least once. This does not need to be done at the same time. You can do them one by one or in chunks if you like. Whatever is easiest for you.
Make sure to mark this completed in the Fated List when you’re done.
Master of Arms
Fulfill the ‘Master of Arms’ Prophecy
In order to complete this prophecy, you will need to successfully escape by using each of the 6 weapons.
- Stygius
- Coronacht
- Aegis
- Varatha
- Malphon
- Exagryph
Slashed Benefits
Fulfill the ‘Slashed Benefits’ Prophecy
This is something that won’t be available until after you have successfully escaped. You will then be introduced to the Pact of Punishment when starting your next run. In order to get this, you will need to successfully escape while having “Benefits Package” turned on and having encountered all listed perks being used by enemies.
The enemies will have an icon next to their health bars that will tell you what perk they are using.
This only needs to be set to rank 1.
Back to Work
Earn access to and enter the Administrative Chamber
After several escape attempts, the Administrative Chamber is added to the House of Hades by buying the work order for it from the House Contractor.
This will become available for purchase after you go into the Administrative Chamber during one of the “earlier” segments that requires you to go to sleep in your room. This happened for me after my 5th successful escape.
The Family Secret
Complete the main quest in the story
This is story related, but you’re going to have to successfully escape 10 times. If you’re looking to complete this Trophy/Achievement list, you’ll be escaping a lot more than 10 times.
One for the Ages
Reach the epilogue of the story
This won’t be possible to earn until after you have successfully escaped 10 times.
After Persephone has returned to the House of Hades, she will give you a prophecy to complete. You’ll need to deepen your relationship with the gods. You’ll need to forge a bond with at least 6 of the Olympian gods in order to further the epilogue quest. Just speak to every Olympian during escape attempts after forging bonds and you’ll start inviting them to the House of Hades. Invite every god to the house and then speak with Persephone.
Demeter’s favor won’t be able to be completed until after the epilogue, but you still need to reach her locked heart.
Well Stocked
Buy 9 ‘Well of Charon’ items in one escape attempt
The Wells of Charon are cauldrons of purple liquid. They act as shops during your escape attempts and will have 3 items available for purchase. For this, you have to buy at least 9 items in a single escape attempt.
Thorn of Thanatos
Get 30% bonus damage with the Pierced Butterfly
First, you will need to have unlocked the Pierced Butterfly by giving Thanatos a Nectar. Then, you will need to have this keepsake at rank 3 and equipped. At rank 3, the Pierced Butterfly will increase your damage by 2% for each encounter you finish without taking damage.
So, you’re going to have to beat 15 encounters at rank 3 without taking any damage in order to get this to 30%.
For the Temple of Styx, only the final encounter rooms in each of the Satyr tunnels count for this. The smaller rooms will not count.
It’s also important to point out that taking damage in an encounter will not reset your percentage progress. This does not have to be 15 consecutive encounters. It will span across your entire escape attempt.
Haste of Hermes
Get 20% dodge chance with the Lambent Plume
First, you will need to have unlocked the Lambent Plume by giving Hermes a Nectar. You don’t have to, but it will make things a little easier by getting this keepsake to level 3.
With that out of the way, you will need to have this equipped and clear encounters as quickly as you can. There will be a timer for each encounter that you will need to finish under. Each encounter will have a different time limit.
When you finish an encounter under the required time, the Lambent Plume at rank 3 will increase your dodge by 1.2%. So, you will need to beat 17 encounters under their required time limits in order to reach 20%. There will be a timer on the left side of the screen toward the bottom. You’ll see “Clear” on screen when you successfully beat a timer.
As previously mentioned, it’s not required to get this to rank 3, but this can still be done at any rank. Rank 1 will take 20 encounters opposed to the 17 at rank 3.
You’re going to want to focus on AoE builds with high damage to make it a little easier to get through the encounters quickly.
For the Temple of Styx, only the final encounter rooms in each of the Satyr tunnels count for this. The smaller rooms will not count.
It’s also important to point out that failing an encounter will not reset your percentage progress. This does not have to be 17 consecutive encounters. It will span across your entire escape attempt.
Death Dealer
Beat Thanatos by 15 kills or more
After completing several escape attempts, you will eventually encounter Thanatos during a run. He will challenge you to a contest to see who can kill more enemies. You’ll have to be very quick because Thanatos is very good at killing enemies.
Before his attacks, you’ll know who his targets are going to be. There will be big purple circles on the ground. There will also be a purple scythe icon above the heads of enemies he is going to attack. When you see these, you need to quickly kill them before he can. There are not always that many enemies, so you’re going to want to focus on preventing his kills.
This one can be a little tricky to get. RNG is going play a role here. There is no set encounter or enemy type for these. Its random when you’ll encounter him and what kind of enemies you will fight. So, the difficulty of this will vary. You’ll end up getting rooms where he will own you and then you will get room where you clean up quickly and easily. It’s really going to come down to your build, enemy count and what enemy type you’re up against.
Friends in High Places
Use Greater Call to invoke an Olympian’s aid
Calls are an ability that allow you to call a god for help while in combat. When you have one, there will be a yellow bar underneath your health that will fill up as you fight enemies. For this, you need to fill that yellow bar up completely and press R2/RT to use the Call.
Calls are sometimes included in the list of boons that you can choose while on an escape attempt.
Bad Call
Use an Olympian’s Greater Call against them in a Trial
First, you will need to have picked up a Call. This is the R2/RT ability that calls in a god to help you.
Trials are rooms where you will find 2 gods offering boons. When you pick one, the god you didn’t choose will get angry and you’ll be forced into combat.
For this, you will need to use the Call of the god during combat after not choosing their boon. The gauge has to be completely full in order for this to count.
Example: Let’s say you have Demeter’s Aid as your Call and you come to a trial room where you can choose between Demeter or Dionysus. You would need to choose Dionysus in order to anger Demeter. During Demeter’s trial, you need to use her Call.
There might not be enough enemies to fully raise your gauge, so what you can do is kill the enemies that turn into souls. The souls will look to revive themselves. Instead of killing the soul, let the soul revive itself and the enemy will respawn. These enemy types are found in Elysium. You can farm these enemy types until your gauge is completely full. Use the Call and then defeat everyone.
Skelly Slayer
Slay Skelly 15 times
Skelly is found in your chambers where you can unlock different weapons. He acts as a training dummy that you can practice newly acquired weapons on. Every time you kill you him, he will respawn. All you have to do is kill him 15 times. This does not have to be done all at once. It is accumulative.
Three-Headed Boy
Pet Cerberus 10 times
Cerberus is found sitting right next to Hades in the House of Hades. All you have to do is pet him 10 times by pressing L2/LT. This can be earned immediately at the beginning of the game.
